One of the many processions of the holy week in Madrid

The procession of "Santísimo Cristo Yacente" leaves at around 4:30pm from el Real Monasterio de la Encarnación- Pza. de la Encarnación.

At the same time the procession of "Nuestra Señora de la Soledad" leaves the Saint Gines church, calle Arenal at around 4:30pm.

They will meet at Plaza de Ramales. The Virgin of the Solitude kneels showing respect to her Holy Son. The Virgin of the Solitude and the Christ face each other before continuing together the procession towards Plaza de Santiago.

Taking pictures in such a crowded ambiance is a challenge. You are pushed, people crossed in front of your lens .......

There is no need to remind you my love for Paris. You can spend as much time as you want in this beautiful city, there is always a view to discover. Last Friday I had breakfast with my friend Val who lives in a street nearby Place de La Bastille. From one of her window you can even see a little of the Génie that's on top of the Colonne Juillet.

Morocco March 2013

We have done a big chunk of this contrasty and beautiful country leaving enough to visit for a new in 2014. 10 days for so many kilometers doesn't allow you to visit in details but just gives you the desire to come back with more time. Landscape are gorgeous, Moroccan people can be as friendly as "heavy".

Marruecos día 10 - Despedida Regreso a Madrid

ultimo y rápido paseito por Marrakesh. Una foto mas de la Koutoubia, regreso al hotel antes de subir por ultima vez al autobús dirección el aeropuerto. Fin del viaje, gracias Amador por organizar una vez mas un viaje excepcional. Un abrazo a todos esperando veros muy pronto. (Esta vez no hay enlace, porque es solo una foto!)
